Fernando Frank is an American composer and music educator based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Frank is committed to making new music accessible and engaging for audiences of all backgrounds by bridging classical traditions with contemporary influences. His recent and upcoming projects include works for chamber ensembles, concert band, and marching band. He studied at Winthrop University, where he earned his Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E), and the University of Florida, where he earned his Master of Music in Music Education (M.M.M.E).

In addition to composing, Frank is active as one of the band directors at Pleasant Knoll Middle School and as a staff member at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival. From 2021 to 2026, he also proudly served as the Band Director and Head Designer/Arranger for DeSoto County High School in Arcadia, FL. During his time there, he elevated the program to new heights teaching the Blazing Blue Band, Symphonic Band, Beginning Band, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Combo, and DeSoto Guard.
